Green day to a notebook

Travelling is a passion that lives within me. It's something that lives in my memories and the thoughts of it can lift up my mood. However, going over bounds is not always possible for a travel enthusiast, and sometimes the most beautiful and breathtaking scenarios exist within our country or city.

The sudden decision of going to Mawa was derived due to the overwhelming pressure that I started to face in my university life. And the next thing you know I was out at 6:00 in the morning after fajr prayer and I was enjoying one of the most beautiful sunrises with the scents of fresh air of the early morning.

After the FIFA match between Germany and Costa Rica came to an end, I received a sudden call from a friend with a sobbing voice who was unsettled after seeing that his team couldn't qualify for the round of 16. That's when I took the decision of going to one of the most attractive places existing in Dhaka with a few friends to delight his mood.

We took our bikes and we started our journey to enlighten our moods and experience our glamorous nature.

The goosebumps we experienced while driving along the long, empty roads surrounded by lush, green fields and trees, as well as the fiery red of the sky, provided the perfect counterpoint to how beautiful our mother nature is.

It was 8:00 a.m. when we arrived at our location, and we were incredibly hungry for breakfast. We entered a local shop to enjoy Bangladesh’s traditional breakfast. Our trip to Mawa was made more worthwhile by the local sweets there, and the fresh breakfast gave us more vigor for the rest of the day's travel.

As we continued further into our journey we started exploring the inner boundaries of Bikrumpur and we stumbled across the locals of that village. The boys were intrigued to see the locals playing football in their fields and they wanted to join. So while they joined them for a game, we female riders sat behind watching them play.

Sitting there allowed us to take in the scene of the village houses, fields, and trees encircling those little tin shed homes. The tin houses, which looked magnificent as the sun shone over them, provided the perfect complement to those wooden-framed doors and windows. While the trees stood there high providing further shelter to those houses from the light and warmth of the sun. Altogether the scenario we saw was astounding, we wished that the moment we were in never comes to an end.

After playing for an hour or so, the guys were drenched in sweat and pretty worn out. In order to continue the rest of our day, we used the opportunity to travel close to the coast where they wished to bathe and freshen up. The sun at that hour created a perfect climate for them to get to the coast of the river next to those enormous boats and enjoy their bath. Eventually, they got help from the local fishermen and were able to catch Hilsha fish from the riverside.

With the caught fish we were ready to have our lunch around two in the afternoon. We got help from the neighborhood restaurants to fry our fish and give us some rice so we could have a full meal. The freshly caught and fried fish hit differently and tasted way better than the ones we had at home and that's when we realized that Mawa came with one of the most delicious foods offered from the Padma river.

We were all wiped out after eating lunch and eager to get home with some wonderful memories and no stress left. On our way back, one of the bikes experienced a minor malfunction and slid across the road, causing two of my friends to fall off the bike. But thankfully there were no serious injuries only minor ones and after grabbing control of the situation we were able to return to our home safely.

For all of us friends, this entire experience was indescribable and one of the best adventures we have ever had, and it was only this exciting because it happened so suddenly.
